Minecraft Adventurers (3-6th grade)

Join us on an exciting journey into the adventurous world of Minecraft! In the Minecraft Adventurers group, we dive into a game where our most important tools are cooperation, creativity, and the courage to try new things. We play Minecraft in a survival game format, but the game has been made with appropriate adjustments and changes to make the experience meaningful and exciting for everyone.

The group is designed specifically for elementary school students, and you can join without any previous gaming experience. For us, the most important thing is not how skilled a player you are, but that you dare to explore, build and survive together with others. Every player is welcome just as they are!

Programming & Game Design - Coders (3rd-6th grade)

Welcome to the Koodarit group, where we will explore the fascinating world of programming and game design! We will start by coding using visual blocks, through which we will learn the basic principles of programming in a fun and concrete way.

The group progresses as the participants' skills develop – little by little we move on to trying real programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript. As our main tool, we use Minecraft Education Edition, which provides an inspiring and gamified learning environment. It allows children to create their own gamified projects, practice problem-solving, and develop their logical thinking without even realizing it.

The group is suitable for both beginners and those who are already somewhat familiar with the world of coding. You can join with curiosity and a desire to learn - together we will learn and create something completely unique!

eSports (age 6-9) & Gaming Club (age 6-9)

Come play, improve and find new friends! In the Esports and Gaming Club groups, we focus on both the fun of playing and the development of skills – both inside and outside the game. We practice individual and team play in different games, such as Fortnite, Overwatch 2 and many other favorite games of young people.

In groups, we focus on good teamwork, responsible gaming, and fair play. The goal is to learn cooperation skills, communication, and game strategies – in a relaxed but goal-oriented manner. No previous gaming experience is necessary, as each participant is considered individually.

Participation and registration:
Neighborhood groups: By registering you can secure your place, but you can also come without pre-registration if there is space in the group.
Online groups: Registration is mandatory.

Note! The age limit for groups is 12 years.

Game club (3rd-6th grade)

The gaming club is a low-threshold hobby group where gaming, community and fun are at the center. Together we play the most popular and child-friendly games of the moment, such as Roblox and Minecraft, in a relaxed and safe environment.

The content of the hobby sessions varies – sometimes we play freely according to our own interests, and sometimes the game director leads the group through common game themes, challenges or mini-games. The purpose is to provide space for creativity, insights and new gaming experiences.

Everyone is welcome at the gaming club – previous gaming experience doesn't matter. All you need is to like playing and want to be part of a nice group. The most important thing for us is a good atmosphere and the joy of playing!

Pocket Monster Hunters - Pokemon Go (3-6th grade)

Welcome to our physical gaming and digital hobby! In Pocket Monster Hunters, we go for a brisk walk outdoors, led by the Pokemon Go game, while developing our own and our Pokemon's physical well-being!

We hope that the enthusiast has their own phone at their disposal, as the game is much more fun to play with your own user and develop your own Pokemon. If using your own phone is not possible, our instructor always has loaner phones and backup power sources with them!
